This Month's Letter
October 2008
Dear Friends,
I am now happily settled in the vicarage, even there are still a large number of boxes waiting to be unpacked.
Moving can be a traumatic experience but it can also be a necessary experience. We get rid of some of the baggage of our lives and ask ourselves what we should keep and what we should throw out. In some ways a new academic year is also a good time to ask ourselves in the church, "What is good and wholesome in our church life, and what is just what we have got used to having around?"
Let us unite together continually looking for new ways of preaching the Gospel which always stays the same. In a changing world let us be reassured in the knowledge that 'Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and for ever.'
Yours very sincerely,
Anne-Louise (Team Vicar)
