The Mothers Union
The purpose of the Mothers Union is to be specially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and family life. There is a branch of this worldwide society at St Andrew's.
The group invites all women to come along to their enjoyable meetings which are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 2.00pm, either at the back of church or in a member's home. There are refreshments and a time to chat, and the meetings often have a speaker or a theme. The members enjoy social events too, like their Christmas lunch, and meeting up with similar groups from other churches.
The St Andrew's Mothers Union also keeps in touch with indoor members, so if you are interested but would be unable to get to the meetings because of ill health or family/other commitments, do still contact us.
